Monday Cave

Monday Cave is a well decorated and very pretty cave in County Fermanagh. It features a good diversity of classic speleothems including flowstone, gour pools and stalactites. To reach these, some very muddy passages need be negotiated and care must be taken to ensure the ornamentation is not contaminated.

‘Monday Cave’ is not the cave’s actual name. I have called it this to protect its identity, as the cave has been vandalised, by people with very poor navigation skills, who spray-painted direction arrows on the moonmilk covered walls.
